As the middle of the year approaches, so does industry renowned, Australian Pipeline and Gas Association’s (APGA) Annual Convention & Exhibition. The APGA Convention and Exhibition is a highly significant event within the pipeline and gas industry. This year’s convention theme is Infrastructure for the Future, held in Australia’s convention city, Adelaide.
Preliminary to the annual convention is the 2019 Health Safety & Environment Committee (HS&E) Seminar. The HS&E Seminar was held on the 16th May 2019 at the Pullman Brisbane, King George Square with a key focus on safety culture and environmental issues.
For a second time in a row, the APGA asked TMS to present. TMS Director, Bianca Hayes, presented on the topic, Does Your Organisation “Manage” Safety or “Lead” Safety Culture? The presentation was well received and provided great insight into safety culture. This is complementary to the APGA Annual Convention which TMS’ CEO, Helen Wood will be presenting at later this year.
