Safety Culture: From Awareness to Commitment [White Paper]

TMS-White-Paper---Safety-Culture_Page_01

What is safety culture?

There is no universally accepted definition of safety culture. Uttal’s (1983) definition of safety culture captures the key components: ‘shared values (what is important) and beliefs (how things work) that interact with an organisation’s structures and control systems to produce behavioural norms (the way we do things around here).
