Ralph Henderson

Ralph has 15 years of tourism experience specialising in tourism planning, policy and regional development. He has worked for two state tourism agencies, South Australia and Queensland, and for the Commonwealth Department of Tourism.

Development projects and regional development have often been an important part of Ralph’s work. In South Australia, he worked on development projects in the Barossa Valley, Flinders Ranges, Clare Valley, Kangaroo Island and Fleurieu Peninsular. He managed regional planning projects for the Clare Valley and Victor Harbour.

Working for the Commonwealth Department of Tourism he was the federal government representative on the North West Cape regional planning project. In this role, he also managed the regional planning grant scheme which funded a number of regional planning studies around Australia.
